We sent you our welcome email when you first signed up for our web hosting service. This email contained the following details that we urged you to retain for future reference.
  1. FTP Hostname
  2. FTP Username (usually same as Cpanel Username)
  3. FTP Password (usually same as CPanel Password)
You can use any of the following two ways to upload your website.

1) CPanel > File Manager
Please log into your Cpanel by using your Cpanel username and password at http://www.yourdomain.com/cpanel (replace yourdomain.com with your domain name hosted with us).

Browse to File Manager - which is a web based file management utility that allows you to upload, edit, delete and in general, manage your files.

To upload your website, you must upload your files under public_html directory for it to be viewable publicly by anyone visiting your website.
2) FTP Client
You can also upload your website using FTP client software such as SmartFTP, CuteFTP, WSFTP and similar clients.

Generally, you require to enter the following information which was provided to you in your welcome email in any FTP client software.
  1. FTP Hostname
  2. FTP Username
  3. FTP Password
  4. FTP Port (Use default port i.e. 21)
Once logged in, you'll see a list of directories under your account (similar to file manager above). To upload your website, you must upload your files under public_html directory for it to be viewable publicly by anyone visiting your website.
Should you face any technical difficulty uploading your website, please create a support ticket by sending an email to support@extremewebtechnologies.com or visiting http://www.extremewebtechnologies.com/support.
