How do I setup my email in Outlook 2007?

To setup your email account in outlook, please follow the instructions below.

Important: You should have the following information before proceeding.
  • Email Address
  • Password
Step 1:
Go to Tools > Account Settings



Step 2:
Add a new email account.



Step 3:
Click on "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP", then click Next.

Step 4:
Click on "Manually configure server settings or additional server types", then click Next.



Step 5:
Select "Internet Email" and click Next.

Step 6:
Enter your information on this screen as per the screen below.

Replace the following information with the information you have:

Your Name - with your real name
email@domain.com - your actual email address
mail.domain.com - replace domain.com with your actual domain name



Step 5: 
Outgoing server above can also be your ISP's instead of mail.domain.com.
If you opt to use mail.domain.com, do this step - otherwise, skip this step.

Click on More Settings in the previous screen.
Click on Outgoing Server tab and check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" and click OK.
