How do I upload via FTP? |

Important: You should have the following information before proceeding.
Method One - FTP Client: Downloading FTP clients such as www.smartftp.com and uploading through it. You'll need to enter the required information and connect to the server. Each FTP client has its own way around it. If you have any specific queries regarding them, please let us know and we try to assist you in any possible way we can. Note: If you are uploading for public access, please upload files to public_html folder. Method Two - File Manager: If you are the owner of the website with CPanel access, you can log into CPanel and use File Manager to upload your files. I Note: If you are uploading for public access, please upload files to public_html folder. Method Three - Explorer: Go to Start > Run - then type in the host address - then click OK. (Replace ftp.myftpsite.com with your host address). ![]() Once the FTP site is open, you might get an error from FTP Folder as under. Just ignore by clicking on OK. ![]() The next step is to click on Login As through the File Menu. A dialog box will be available to key in your username and password. Use the information provided to you and click on Log On. ![]() Once logged in, just use the folder normally. Create a subfolder if required, once ready to upload, just "paste" in the files to upload. Finally, wait for the transfer to complete... You are done! |
